| Abstract: |
| In this paper,we study a new method to obtain compact information algebras from general information algebras.By establishing an equivalence relation on the directed sets of an information algebra,we show that the set of all corresponding equivalence classes with two operations combination and focusing forms a compact extension of the original information algebra. |
