| Abstract: |
| In this paper, we introduce a new two-parameter lifetime distribution with decreasing failure rate. By using mixing Pareto distribution and logarithmic distribution, various properties such as moment, entropy, failure rate function and mean residual lifetime are studied and the MLE of parameters are discussed. The EM algorithm is used to determine the maximum likelihood estimates. Simulation study are performed. |
